Welcome to the Illinois PSM. We’re happy to have you as a member of the inaugural cohort of Professional Science Master’s students.
This page has important information for you and actions you must take in order to enroll in your first semester of study. You do not have to address everything at once, but it is important that you know what you are required to do. As a suggestion, first review all of the information on this page and then begin working through the necessary action steps.
This page will update as new information is available. Updates will be noted.

Information on this page is organized into these sections:
Basics
You may have already received this information directly from the Graduate and Professional Admissions office. These easy yet crucial steps give you access to important University of Illinois resources.
- Claim your NetID. Your NetID gives you access to campus services including e-mail and file storage. You will need your University ID Number (UIN), date of birth, and last name to claim your NetID. The UIN was provided to you in your Official Notice of Admission letter. New students should visit the NetID Claiming Service.
- Set up your EnterpriseID. Your Enterprise ID may look the same as your NetID; however, the passwords for each are set separately. The EnterpriseID allows access to the statewide University of Illinois administrative system for official records in UI-Integrate Self-Service, including course registration, financial aid, and billing. You will need your NetID and NetID password to set up your EnterpriseID password. To set up your EnterpriseID, go to UI-Integrate Self-Service and follow the steps for first-time users.
- Verify Personal Information. Once you have established your EnterpriseID, use it to log in to UI-Integrated Self-Service and verify your personal information such as your mailing address and telephone number. Keeping this information up-to-date is extremely important and ensures proper delivery of important documents.
- Get your i-card. Your i-card is your official University of Illinois photo identification. It also serves as your library card and bus pass. When you arrive on campus, visit the ID Center on the first floor of the Illini Union Bookstore (map). For more information, visit the i-card Website.

Course registration
NOTE: You can add courses online through September 4. You do not have to register for all of your courses at one time, and you can exit and login to the registration system as often as necessary.
You are ready to register after you and your advisor have decided on fall semester courses. To register for coures, login to UI-Integrate Self-Service using your EnterpriseID and password. The Office of the Registrar has prepared a helpful step-by-step course registration guide (PDF file).
International students: Before you can register, you must complete the check-in procedure with the International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) office after you arrive on campus.
Remember to register for the science courses as advised by your program coordinator and for the business courses listed above.
The Office of the Registrar provides important services that you will use during your enrollment at Illinois. You should familiarize yourself with academic deadlines, course registration, tuition, grades, graduation, transcripts, and other important information and services provided by the Office of the Registrar.
