Jessica “Jesse” Soule is one of our Agricultural Production students focusing on Sustainable Production Systems.

She has always had an interest in the environment which is why she chose to obtain a B.S. degree in Natural Resource Management with an International Development and Political Science minor from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. While a student, Jesse was involved in numerous environmentally conscious clubs, projects and internships where she helped build and sustain gardens, rehabilitate inner city residential structures, and campaign to restore the Mississippi River Delta. This summer she is working for the Jefferson Conservation District in Colorado as their Urban Agriculture Intern. Her role is allowing her to work with new urban farmers, identify their needs and goals and provide them with technical and educational assistance. She is also getting to work on the business side by managing some of the social media and creating brochures.
