IL PSM Student Spotlight: Wei-Chieh "Jesse" Tsao

Wei-Chieh “Jesse” Tsao, Food Science & Human Nutrition student is today’s spotlight.

Jesse earned his B.S. in Agricultural Chemistry from National Taiwan University, where he was involved in numerous contests and projects. He was given the opportunity to work not only in food science, but consulting and trading as well. All of these experiences led Jesse to pursue his M.S. in the Illinois Professional Science Master’s program where he could combine his passion for food and business. This summer Jesse is working for Abbott Nutrition in the University of Illinois Research Park as a Lipid Oxidation Intern and worked in the Engeseth Laboratory here on campus. Jesse’s career goal is to merge is interests and work in marketing for a food company.
