Business (10 hours)
The business component includes eight required courses that provide business knowledge and skills particularly relevant to scientists.
Two of these are taught by the School of Labor and Employment Relations: Human Resource Management for Scientists and Engineers (2 hours) and Sociotechnical Systems (2 hours).
Six intensive one-hour courses are taught by the College of Business. Topics include accounting for managers, management, leadership, marketing, entrepreneurship, finance, among others.
