The National Professional Science Master’s Association launched today a new website celebrating the 300th PSM program:

Celebration events are planned and the website helps promote PSM successes and why the PSM is important.
The future for PSMs has never been better.  The Illinois PSM is proud to have helped lead the way as one of the early adopters of professional science master's.

The Department of Geography and Geographic Information Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is exploring the possibility of a new master's degree program in geography focusing on geographic information systems (GIS). 

This program is designed for those who want to blend their knowledge of GIS and technologies with business-based applications.  
With a solid science core in cutting-edge geospatial technologies, the program will focus on GIS-based business functions such as
  • business intelligence,
  • geomarketing,
  • marketing analysis,
  • site location analysis, and
  • supply chain optimization.

To help us assess the feasibility of this program, please complete a short survey.  Your input will help us determine the level of interest in the program.
